Jen’s artistry includes a variety of animal-inspired images, murals, and sculptures. This includes an ever-increasing collection of whimsical animal renderings called Jenimals. Her inspiration springs from her passion and love for animals of all kinds. While some of Jen’s work addresses animal-related social issues, most of her work is meant to bring a smile to other people’s faces.

Jen is formally educated in graphic design, drawing, and ceramics. She is “self-taught” in other artistic and creative media in both fine art and craft work. Jen’s art is expressionistic. She pairs a love for the simplification of form with a bright and vibrant pattern.

Originally from Brownsville, Texas, Jen now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and young son, Patrick. In addition to sharing her artistic creations at various local art shows, Jen teaches high school art in San Francisco. Currently, she is hard at work with her husband writing and illustrating a children’s book that she hopes to share with her son and all young people everywhere.
